This unique company began life in 1957 and was the inspiration of a local joiner Lars Peter Molgaard based in the village of Vrogum. Such was the demand for his high quality products that the business moved to larger premises at its present location in Oksbol. Today, Vrogum is recognised as one of Denmark's leading window and door manufacturers and their products are exported extensively in Europe and as far a field as Japan. Their reputation for producing quality windows and doors remains as good as is was 40 years ago and goes far beyond their products. Working closely with the Danish Enviromental Agency, their environmental awareness and commitments are highly recognised and praised.

Vrogum windows and doors are manufactured solely from sustainable forests and available in either Scandinavian Pine softwood or Australian Victoria Oak hardwood. Window opening styles include side hung casement, top hung side guided, tilt & turn, high performance sliding sash and speciality windows including opening circular units. The windows are complimented with an range of doorsets including inward and outward opening French doorsets, sliding patio doorsets, folding sliding doorsets and main entrance doorsets. All windows and doors are supplied fully finished in a wide range of standard colour microporous stains and paints with the option of custom NCS or RAL colours. Glazing is double or triple as standard giving maximum choice to meet design, construction and budget.

Vrogum prides themselves in continually striving to push the boundaries of joinery construction and performance and have developed the "Ultratherm Passiv House Window" with a part insulated core timber and Aluminium clad window. In addition, and new for 2009/10, Vrogum have launched their ultimate "Glaslux" window and door range which combines a unique design with a maintenance free exterior.

The window is made with triple super low E (K-glass) glass with coloured edges and the outer pane overlaps the underlying timber frame and sash for a maintenance free exterior. Probably the best window in the world...!
