HON performance wooden windows available with aluminium cladding

Every once in a while we discover a unique window or door system that takes our product range to another level and we are now extremely fortunate to be able to offer the stunning selection of wooden windows and aluminium clad timber windows from Hon.

This unique company has maintained a reputation for high quality timber windows and doors since 1924 and still retains the family name and standards, headed by Karel Hon and his brother Josef. Their products are respected throughout Europe and Hon have successfully supplied no less than 80 projects in the USA, all manufactured in the same factory based in Opava, Czech Republic.

The factory combines modern technology with traditional hand craftsmanship that has been passed down through numerous generations and all windows and doors are available in both timber and Aluminium clad timber. All are triple glazed and the 93mm systems are suitable for passive house construction.

There is complete flexibility with an extensive choice of materials and systems and the timber types alone vary from knot free Spruce through to Larch, Meranti and Oak. The Aluminium clad systems come in 7 different profiles and so there is a product style suitable for all homes and tastes. The windows and doors open inwards, outwards or sideways if you want it and are complimented by stunning French and sliding doorsets. Of course, we’ve seen much of this before but Hon offer more than the norm and boast a number of unique construction finishes. How about an internal flush faced tilt and turn window system or their Aluminium cladding that has fully welded corners as standard. This feature offers the ultimate in coastal protection with no mitres and potential corrosion weak points and, a look that is stunningly sharp and clean!

We all respect and enjoy Czech brewed beer so now sit back and enjoy the best of their window systems too!
