Dooria holds a very special place in the DSL collection of suppliers. They were our first partner, introduced as Kungsater by the late Geoff Squire, and we know from many years of business that the quality and products remain as good today as they were in 1994.The Dooria Group began life in 1908 with a specialist joinery company in Kungsater, Sweden. This small joinery company produced many goods and as the business grew so did their sales of doors and this became their primary manufacturing product. During the 1990’s many Scandinavian door producers began to seek joint development. During this time, the respected Norwegian door company Fjordtre began to merge individual Swedish manufacturers and in 2002 Kungsater joined the group to form “Dooria” as it’s known today. This group comprises many specialist factories throughout Sweden and Norway and produces in excess of 500,000 external and internal doors per annum. The Dooria group produce an extensive range of external and internal doorsets that combine style, quality and performance. Whether you are looking for a traditional or contemporary entrance or internal door, Dooria is likely to have the product. All external doors are supplied as pre-hung sets and the doors are fully insulated with high security locks and hinges. Each external door includes Aluminium sheeting for stability and is guaranteed for 10 years against warping and bowing. We therefore supply these doors confidently in the knowledge that they will perform exactly as a entrance door should! All internal doorsets are also supplied as a pre-hung set, albeit in a knock down format, for quick and easy installation on site. The system allows deliveries to be staggered to suit on site construction and ensures that the factory finished door is fitted to the frame at a time that is free from construction work and risk of damage. Doors are available in a variety of finishes and styles, including fire rated, and the unique “Addera” door allows the customer to design their own door and create not just a room divider, but a piece of furniture. |
